New Hope Lions Club Pancake Breakfast – November 2004

Our Latest Success Story

 

On Nov. 6 the New Hope Lions Club held its annual Pancake Breakfast fund-raiser in the New Hope High School Cafeteria.   Three hundred and fifty-three tickets were collected at the door.  Gross profit for the event is estimated to be $2072.00.  The net profit will be over $1600.00.  Half the net profit ($800) will be donated to the New Hope High School Band.

 

This year’s Pancake Breakfast served 121 more meals than the 2003 Pancake breakfast.  The number of people buying tickets and attending has increased every year.  The upcoming year (2005) will probably be no exception to this trend.

 

An interesting side benefit is that the event is becoming a social event for the community.  People not only came and ate, but they also stayed and visited with friends and family.

 

We’re already looking forward to the upcoming year, which we know will once again be bigger, and better, and a great event for benefit of the community.
