One of Our Latest Success Stories

Congratulations to the New Hope Lions Club!!!!

This year’s Pancake Breakfast (2007) grossed $2,113.00.  We had expenses of only

$321.84, which left us with a net profit for the club of $1,791.64.  This is the second best

the New Hope Lions Club has ever done; the best being the first year that the New Hope

High School Band was involved - back in 2004.

Presales were 430 tickets with 269 of those actually coming to eat.   In addition to the

269 presales eating we had an 88 additional walk-ins.   Thus total number of people

eating pancakes with us for this annual Pancake Breakfast day was 357. 

Of course, we all know that it’s not JUST about “pancakes”. There’s also an abundant

supply of Coffee, Juice, Bacon, and PLENTY of home town hospitality.

Quite the turnout, and quite the success story in bringing in revenue for the New Hope

Lions Club, and in turn – the community. But, as usaual, it is a LOT of fun for the Lions

Club Members who participate to make it a success, Along with the OTHER volunteers

from various civic minded groups. This next Pancake Breakfast 2008 we’ll even have the

New Hope Police Chief participating, in serving the community in a somewhat different

capacity!

Next year, let’s see if we can perhaps even top this showing!! So, come on out and
